The mRNA/+RNA description:
Putative in vivo transcript driven from CMV IE promoter and terminated after the SV40 late poly(A) signal
containing GLuc (Gaussia luciferase) and GFP cistrons separated by presumed non-IRES containing sequence of
reverse-complemented putative BiP IRES.

pGLuc-rcBiP-GFP
The name of the promoter used to express this mRNA:
  CMV_IE
The in vivo produced transcripts are heterogeneous (due to any of promoter?/splicing?/cleavage?/breakage?):
  not tested
The in vivo produced heterogeneous transcripts occur due to alternative splicing:
  not tested

Remarks:
The non-IRES sequence is a reverse-complemented putative BiP IRES. It is located in the mRNA in positions
669-765. The "activity" was about 28.2% of EMCV in HeLa cells (25.8% in NIH3T3 cells) and in general, close to
BiP, eIF4G, NRF, Rbm3, see Figures 1 B and C.
